We are looking good and I thank God that we made the playoffs. We’ve had a good season and the kid Judge is the truth! Regardless whether we lost to the Astros I’m still proud of my boys. Ok in all sports they usually have a strength and conditioning specialist somewhere on the team to advise and aid in specifically strengthening and conditioning their athletes and thats one of the titles I want. In the beginning of each workout are passive and active stretching so u can fully utilize the body and build a repetitive nature to do what u might not naturally do in go time. When putting together a program for specific sport preparation I like to utilize the team and see who is where physically, meaning what is each individual gonna perform like solely and as a team. It gives u team to analyze each character and put together a program so that they can perform better in go time. At the bottom I put together a workout for a team strength and conditioning session. Here is what a day at NY Yankees training camp might look like.
Stretching:
Hamstring Stretch hold 10 seconds
eans
Reach up Crunch: with med ball feet flat (like the crunches in your mma vid circuits)
Reverse crunch: with med ball held between your hams
Super Crunch: with med ball held between your hams bring elbows to touch knees
Alternating pike: body flat med ball held as your laying flat on your back and one leg tucked in to your butt the other flat bring med ball and flat leg to meet in a crunch. 10 ea
Lateral walk: resistance band tied at ankles move to your left for 20 steps flat footed to ignite the hams and glutes
Front walk: resistance band tied at ankles simply walk flat footed one step at a time repeat for 20 steps then walk backward 20 steps
Hip flexion: with resistance band tied across your ankles raise your right knee to 90 degrees while elevating your left arm up in a running format and hold one second at the top
