Muay Thai Conditioning Part 1

Oct 28, 2014 | | 7 comments

In this article I’m gonna give u a few muay thai/kickboxing combos and circuits to add to your regimen as a different type of cardio workout and conditioning.  When I use to train mma I would do my research and watch how the greats trained.  Once again as mentioned in another article, Dr. Paul Zaichik provided some great insight on flexibility and stretches and provided some great methods that I still throw into my regular routines and circuits.  Follow this light circuit 3 times a week, and do the workout A for 2-3 circuits and workout B for 7-10 because with the combos u want it to become repetitive to your muscle memory make sure u do A first rest 2 minutes and get into the combos of workout B.  Next week I’ll drop part two of this workout and trust me u gonna hate me and cuss me out but its well worth the results.  Good training to all, and to all a good fight!!!

  Flying Knee

   Round House kick

Workout A

Spider man push up

Back Squat

Pain tolerance crunch with med ball

Kinsiological strength methods
Workout B

Left Kick to the Head + Straight Right to the Head + Left Hook to the Head + Right Kick To the Head
Left Kick to the Body + Straight Right to the Head + Left Hook to the Head + Right Kick To the Head
Left Kick to the Inner Thigh + Straight Right to the Head + Left Hook to the Head + Right Kick To the Head
