MMA Transition Circuits With Kinesiological Mix3

In this part of MMA Transition Circuits With Kinesiological Mix I’m gonna give u some more grappler insight, and get those muscle fibers in gear and prepared for battle.  But in this version u are gonna do more strength training mixed with power lifts.  What I mean by that is that on your final set out of 5 I want u to do only 2-3 reps going slow on the negative and explosive on the positive (if needed decrease the weight for good form and explosion).  As time goes an as a grappler u have to adjust to different weight classes and different grapplers of various strength levels so u wanna always be at your best and prepared for the worst.  When I was taking bjj (at Renzo Gracie in West haven, CT) I had to roll with a 250lbs ROCK SOLID ape lol.  The kid was a NCAA Division 3 All-American, and I got an All-American ass whooping.  But the experience was great and after we finished rolling he told me how he respected my strength and power on the ground and that I mixed my programs and kept some standards in the mix that the sky was the limit.  I realized that when he was in my guard (meaning I’m on my back) the more I moved and adjusted my legs from his core to his rib area that I controlled a bit of his breathing and it was more painful and in order to get me away from that area he would almost flip me over and at the time I was a lot less agile than I am now but if I had mixed my dynamic stretches with the kinesiological then I could have made simple body placements transitions and could of got the kill.  In this game we suffer physically all the time, whether it be pulled muscles to broken bones like your damn toes when your scrambling, but this is what we prepare ourselves for WAR!!!  If u are not prepared for battle than u lose the war.  I will always be prepared from now on.

On another note the Elite Athlete will be adding a new category soon called Jiu Jitsu Journals: Agrapplers diary.  This will be a standard journal of your thoughts, training charts, and insight of your experience.  Good training to all, and to all a good fight!!!
